Personally Identifiable Information is captured only when a visitor accesses Online Services, or speaks on the phone with a Customer care specialist at Iammyownlawyer.com and voluntarily discloses their personal information. This disclosure may occur when a customer communicates with one of our member lawyers and such personal information is needed to properly provide the needed service. 

Personally Identifiable Information or PII includes contact data such as your name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and email address and Financial data such as your credit card number, expiration date, and verification code. Other PII may include data such as your sex, social security number, mortgage information, automobile information, marital information, and other sensitive information necessary to provide services to you and to generate legal documents for you.

How Do We Use the Information We Collect?

We use information we collect from you mainly to communicate with you and to provide services under the Service Plan you purchase.  We may use your Personal Information to process your payment through merchant account services as well as to follow up with you on any transactions you initiate on our website.

Unless specifically authorized by you, we do not provide Personally Identifiable Information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may provide information to a third party in response to a subpoena or to otherwise comply with the law.

By purchasing any of our Service Plan, you agree that we may forward your information to a member lawyer who will be responsible for providing you service under your Service Plan.

How Secure Is the Personal Information We Collect?

We strive to ensure that our servers and connections incorporate the latest encryption and security devices. We have implemented physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. Credit card and personal information are transmitted by secure servers. Documents are delivered to you via UPS or similar overnight delivery services, the United States Postal Service, or email. Unfortunately, no data transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure and we therefore cannot guarantee the security of information you transmit to or from iammyownlawyer or through the use of our services, and you provide this information at your own risk.
